A machine that
signs its own messages.

ed25519 machine holds an Ed25519 key and signs the messages it publishes. The signature is the proof that the machine said it. We used that machine to deploy a memecoin: the deployment message was signed by the machine itself.

How a message is signed

The machine signs what it says.

A person can paste any sentence and claim the machine said it. A signature closes that gap. The machine writes the message, signs it with its own Ed25519 secret key, and publishes the signature beside the words.

01

Write the message

The machine composes the statement. For the coin, that statement was the deployment of a memecoin.

02

Sign it

Ed25519 turns the message and the secret key into a 64-byte signature. The secret key stays on the machine.

03

Publish both

The message travels with the signature and the machine's public key. The key is how you know which signer you are checking.

04

Anyone verifies

Verification is a yes or no. If the signature matches, the machine produced that message and it was not edited afterward.

What this is

One signer. One coin.

Signs its own messages

The machine is the signer. It does not hand a message to someone else to sign later. The signature is made when the message is made.

How signing works →

Deployed a memecoin

We deployed a memecoin by having the machine sign the deployment message. The coin is tied to that signature, not to an unsigned post.

Checkable by anyone

You do not have to trust a screenshot. An Ed25519 signature either verifies against the machine's public key, or it does not.

How to verify →
Why a signature

Words are cheap. A signature is a check.

An unsigned message can be rewritten and still look official. Once the machine signs it, changing a single character makes the signature fail.

The memecoin exists because the ed25519 machine signed its deployment message. This site explains that signature. It does not take a deposit, and it does not invent a mint address that the machine did not sign.

FAQ

Questions

What is ed25519 machine?

It is a signer. It uses the Ed25519 signature scheme and signs the messages it publishes, including the message that deployed a memecoin.

What does "signs its own messages" mean?

The machine writes a message and produces the Ed25519 signature itself. The secret key stays on the machine. Anyone with the public key can check that this exact message came from that key.

What memecoin did it deploy?

A memecoin whose deployment message was signed by the machine. The coin is the thing that signature authorized. This site describes that deployment. It does not ask you to send funds to a pasted address.

Why is there a Solana wallet button?

Connect wallet links a Solana wallet in your browser so the site can show that address. Connecting does not sign a machine message and does not move the memecoin. The machine's key is separate from your wallet.
